Taylor Technology Systems was tasked with designing and installing an addressable fire alarm system for a property with two offices and nine apartments across three floors. The system included smoke detectors, sounder bases and call points, as well as an AOV smoke venting system and a BPT systems entry system.

In February 2016, we were tasked with designing and installing an addressable fire alarm system for two offices and nine apartments, to be installed on the ground, first and second floors. This included smoke detectors and sounder bases installed on ceilings, as well as call points situated adjacent to entrance doors.

The system installed was a one-loop addressable fire alarm control panel FP200 Gold 2 core 1.5mm + Earth cable to run to each call point, smoke detector and interface unit, on all three levels.

An AOV smoke venting system via roof hatch was also installed, alongside a fireman’s over-ride switch. The AOV controller was integrated into the main fire control panel to trigger the AOV vent in alarm condition.

A BPT systems 200 vandal-resistant entry system was also fitted, with a 12-button entry panel and 11 audio-only handsets.
