Following Taylor Technology Systems’ award win at the 2019 Bexley Business Excellence Awards, the company was invited to attend the Winners’ Reception event at the Ocado Customer Fulfilment Centre in Erith, Kent.
Ocado, which was headline sponsor of the Awards, invited all those businesses who were winners, highly commended or commended in an Awards category to visit its fulfilment centre, where they would receive an exclusive tour of the impressive facility – the largest automated warehouse for online grocery shopping.
Once gathered at the centre, guests were able to hear speeches from a representative of Bexley Council, as well as being welcomed by Stephen Hammond, General Manager of Ocado’s fulfilment centre. They then enjoyed an evening of networking to celebrate their achievements in the Bexley area.
TTS won the Tech Innovation of the Year Award, after being Highly Commended in the same category the previous year. Judges praised the company’s hard work and dedication to creating an innovative business culture, and how it “works closely with clients, partners and suppliers to improve and share knowledge for the greater benefit of their customers”.
